The IMAX theatre at Science World is an OMNIMAX Theatre, which means that it has an enormous wrap-around screen. The theatre seats 400 people and is 27 metres in diameter and five storeys high. The theatre shows specially shot sceince and nature films that really give you the impression of being there.

Shows last about an hour and tickets can be bought at the Science World entrance, either separately or in combination with Sceince World admission.

Tip: On the way out of the theatre you can look in to the projection room and see the giant reels of film and the banks of sound equipment.
